Fun fact: This was almost JN’s name! No joke for most of my pregnancy we considered naming JN, Esther.
I love the book of Esther so much.
There’s such a climax that does not disappoint. Oh, how the Lord used Esther to save a whole people is just astonishing.
Think about it. In her time women were literally nothing, and less nothing in society. Didn’t have a place in a man’s world must less were able to stand up for a cause.
But, not in God’s eyes. God uses the unlikely in his reverse economy every single time to prove it is only by his hand that each piece was orchestrated.
Esther had a purpose and that was to save an entire nation!!! This was at the expense of possibly being beheaded like the King’s wife before her.
