16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21.He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Hey everybody,
I hope y’all are having a good week! I was reading
out of John 14 this morning and was really encouraged by it. I’d like to encourage you all to do the same! Such beautiful promises!
I want to remind you ladies as I have been reminded this morning, that Jesus is our comforter. If you are saved, there is nobody that can take that away, and that is a beautiful thing. We have a peace and a comfort that “the world” can’t understand, it passes all understanding! There’s nothing that you are feeling that Jesus didn’t feel and can’t sympathize with. So, despite all the things going on in this world – let’s rejoice and be comforted in knowing that Jesus abides with us forever. There’s never a time when he isn’t with us. My prayer is today that Jesus will give you ladies peace and comfort in your storms and trials, and He will make aware His presence in your life. ♥️
Happiness – a delight that comes from the good fortune of being blessed by God.
