John Chapter 7:30 “Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.”
John Chapter 8:20 “These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.”
I read these two verses after talking to a friend the other night. We had been talking about the virus and the Lord’s hand of protection. I read these verses back to back and thought about how many times the Jews had sought to kill Jesus. There are so many times that the Jews picked Jesus’ words apart wanted to take him right then, but they couldn’t.. BECAUSE IT WASN’T HIS TIME. This was so revealing to me. Nothing can touch his children either unless it’s our time or he’s deemed it to!! His hand of protection covers us and under His wings we find rest!
