Healthy Oatmeal with toppings

Cook Time: 3 mins. 

Ingredients

  • Your favorite gluten free oats (I use Bob’s Red mill)
  • Toppings of your choice: apples, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, honey, cinnamon, dark chocolate, almonds, etc.

Method

  1. Stove top: bring water to a boil and add a pinch of sea salt. Add the desired amount of oats. Reduce heat to medium and stir occasionally, cook for 10 mins.
  2. Microwave (what I do ;)): in a large bowl combine desired amount of oats and 1/2-1 cup of water with a pinch of sea salt. Microwave on high for 2 mins.
  3. Add toppings! I prefer apples, strawberries, honey and cinnamon.
